Back on Track (BOT) is a comprehensive, afterschool 1-on-1 tutoring and mentoring program for K-12th grade students.
It was founded in 1988 as an interfaith collaborative effort between Third Baptist Church and Temple Emanu-El in San Francisco. The unique partnership has crossed religious and cultural differences to build bridges of opportunity for K-12 students. As a non-denominational community-based program, BOT has served more than 2,000 young people from diverse, multicultural populations throughout San Francisco. Back on Track students come from all walks of life but share two essential characteristics: intelligence and a desire to succeed academically.
The program provides personalized tutoring, homework assistance, and mentoring to help students excel academically and build confidence. With a focus on educational enrichment and character development, BOT aims to empower students to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Please contact the church office for further information on how to enroll your student. (628) 867-7075.
