Celebrating MLK Day 2025 and the 38th Annual Pulpit Exchange With Congregation Emanu-El: A Legacy of Unity and Reflection

As we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this year on Monday, January 20, we are thrilled to invite you to the 38th Annual Pulpit Exchange between Third Baptist Church and Congregation Emanu-El, a cherished tradition that exemplifies unity, mutual respect, and shared commitment to justice and understanding.

This year’s exchange will be a highlight of our 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Weekend, and we look forward to welcoming you to these meaningful events.

Instead of our usual Friday Night Live activities, we will gather at Congregation Emanu-El to mark the start of the 38th year of this unique and powerful pulpit exchange. We are especially proud to send our young people to hear our newly elected Executive Pastor of Third Baptist Church, Rev. Devon Jerome Crawford, deliver an inspiring sermon that continues the mission of Dr. King.
